Set beneath blooming cherry blossoms and surrounded by thousands of spring flowers at Morris Arboretum & Gardens in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, their April wedding was the kind of day that reminds you just how magical spring can be. Every path seemed to lead to another breathtaking garden, tulips stretched in every direction, and the soft sunshine created the perfect backdrop for a celebration that was equal parts elegant, whimsical, and deeply personal.

From the very beginning, Victoria and Nathen envisioned a wedding that embraced the beauty of nature while incorporating thoughtful vintage touches and rich jewel tones. They wanted their guests to feel immersed in the gardens, allowing the landscape to become part of the celebration rather than simply the setting.

Morris Arboretum delivered exactly that.

As guests wandered the grounds, they were greeted by gardens bursting with color, flowering trees in peak bloom, and winding pathways that felt straight out of a storybook. One of the things we love most about a spring wedding at Morris Arboretum is that no additional backdrop is needed. Nature does all the work, and on this perfect early April day, it absolutely showed off.

The design beautifully reflected Victoria and Nathen’s personalities. Jewel-toned florals by Grow Wild Studios popped against the fresh greens of the gardens, while vintage-inspired details added warmth and character throughout the day. One of our favorite details was Victoria’s beautiful vintage purse, a timeless accessory that felt perfectly at home alongside the romantic garden setting. Vintage table numbers continued that same thoughtful aesthetic, proving that even the smallest details can tell part of a couple’s story.

While every design choice was beautiful, what truly stood out was how unapologetically themselves Victoria and Nathen were throughout the day.

After exchanging vows surrounded by spring blooms, they surprised guests with a grand entrance beneath a sword arch inspired by The Lord of the Rings. It was unexpected, joyful, and a perfect reflection of the things they love together. Moments like these are our favorite because they remind us that the most memorable weddings aren’t about following traditions for tradition’s sake. They’re about creating moments that feel uniquely your own.

That same spirit carried into their first dance.

Rather than simply swaying together, Victoria and Nathen performed a choreographed ballroom routine they had spent months preparing. Victoria even wore custom ballroom shoes made specifically for the dance.
